At this moment CS2 is the best, for pro. I think you won't find nothing better.

If you own CS2 I believe you can try out a beta version of CS3 from Adobe. But it is not out to purchase yet and may still have some bugs. CS2 is the industry standard for now.
Not yet, but expect there will be an upgrade soon.
